Leprechauns are mischievous little bastards that sneak around in the forests of Ireland. In order to camouflage themselves, they exclusively wear green in order to blend into their surroundings. Like most of the Irish, they have red hair, so they must also resort to wearing bowler hats with foliage stuck in them.
Leprechauns love to play pranks, such as the “old hotfoot”, the “exploding buttocks”, and the “slice your Achilles heel with a rusty blade”. Oh, how they enjoy their pranks! If caught doing a prank, they will generally grant three wishes. However, due to their diminutive stature, there are really very few things they can do well, so most people waste the wishes on things like “shine my shoes” and “climb into the crawlspace and get that damn cat out!”

- Leprechauns are deathly allergic to marshmallows, this is the main reason why the mascot for Lucky Charms cereal was an animated character.
- Most Leprechauns “Pots-O-Gold” are actually not pots at all, they are more like cauldrons.
